随着“网络科技”的愈演愈烈，为网络一族打造一个全方位的工作环境，已成为当今居家设计的新趋势。“家”的定义，不再只是给予人们单纯的相聚、休息，工作与家庭的连结带来了复合式的新生活形态，这就让书房的设计显得格外重要。
个性化
将书房的基本元素任意组合，电脑桌、电脑椅、各式组合的书柜、书架以及休闲小沙发的摆放形式，都能充分展现出属于自我的个性。在发挥创意、想象、专长、才能的工作空间里，“非凡”的整体家居设计能尽情地挥洒，无论是一个大器的书柜还是一个多用的工作台，乃至一个小巧的书架，从装修风格的总体把握到每件家具细节的处理，“非凡”的独特创意，更赋予了书房中每件作品以生命的灵性。
舒适度

灯光也是书房中很重要的成员，分布均匀的暖色调光源最适合读书，而书柜中或书柜前最好加装几盏小射灯，不仅美观，查找书籍时也较容易。当然，工作台上一定要有一盏可调明暗的台灯，以便于阅读。
私密空间
每当夜深人静，网络一族就废寝忘食，贪婪地寻找着“在线一方的“伊妹”。这就让我们的“家庭工作室”显得格外重要。设计一个舒适、放松、可以遨游网络、发挥创意的自我空间，是特别需要考虑的重要因素。
无论书桌与电脑台是否连接，“L”形的台面是最适合工作与上网的工作台首选方案。台面下一定要有一个足够大的键盘架，最好能放得下鼠标，为了能让双足有充分的伸展空间，台面下能空则空，最多加一个小推柜即可。如果有空间，在电脑台旁摆放一个半高的小文件柜或书架，或是在工作台的墙面上搭几块隔板，就会让文件、书籍、光盘的拿取变得轻而易举。 |
